Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,

 

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of honor that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Harbour View Elementary School. My name is Jadyn Grunbaum, and I am thrilled to join this vibrant school community. Previous to coming to Harbour, I served as Principal of Mesa View for 5 years, and one year as Assistant Principal of Vista View. Prior to finding my home in Ocean View, I was a teacher, coach, and administrator at Fullerton Union High School. With 19 years in education and 10 years in school administration, I bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to fostering an environment where every student can excel.

 

One of the standout features of our school is our Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program. This innovative initiative not only supports bilingual education but also enriches our students’ cultural awareness and cognitive skills. I am dedicated to ensuring that our DLI program continues to thrive and provide exceptional opportunities for our students to become global citizens. We are excited to continue also offering Spanish introduction lessons to ALL K-5 classes at Harbour View.

 

At Harbour View, we take pride in the accomplishments of our students, and we work tirelessly to support their academic and personal growth. Our highly involved PTA plays a crucial role in this endeavor. Their dedication and support are instrumental in creating a nurturing and dynamic educational environment. I am fortunate to be working alongside an outstanding team of teachers and staff members. Their passion, expertise, and dedication are evident in every aspect of their work. Together, we are committed to creating a positive and impactful learning experience for every student.

 

On a personal note, my family and I are excited to be a part of the Harbour View community. I live locally here in Huntington Beach with my husband and our wonderful daughter who will be entering 2nd grade this year within neighboring HBCSD. We share our home with our energetic puppy, Zoey. We look forward to becoming part of this community and contributing to the traditions and values that make our school so special.
