Dual Language Immersion Program
Why Dual Language Immersion? ¿Por qué Inmersión Dual?

Established, Spanish Dual Language Immersion in 2020–2021 —students learn grade-level content in English and Spanish alongside peers from diverse language backgrounds.
90:10 immersion model—maximizes Spanish exposure while aligning to the three pillars of dual immersion: bilingualism/biliteracy, academic achievement, and sociocultural competence.
Pathway continues through middle school at Mesa View Middle School for grades 6–8 —families can stay in DLI beyond elementary.
Late entry is possible (space-dependent) with proficiency screening to ensure students are set up for success.
High-achieving, award-winning campus with an active parent community and strong focus on character and citizenship.
Strong academics—Harbour View ranks among California’s top elementary schools, with proficiency rates above state averages.
Family-friendly logistics—clear start/dismissal times and onsite before and after-school care available on the Harbour View campus.
